Currently ELSA is researching the protection of children against sexual abuse in the national legal framework of European countries. The name of this project, organised in cooperation with the Council of Europe, is the ELSA for Children Legal Research Group.

Inspired by the "ONE in FIVE campaign to Stop Sexual Violence Against Children" (click image to read more), ELSA has launched the ELSA for Children Legal Research Group on the protection of children against sexual abuse with the pursopse of collecting comprehensive and comparative research on the different countries legal approaches to child abuse and the differences in children and abuse situation definitions in Europe.
