What is the ELSA House Training Week?
ELSA House Training Week is a week-long event organised by ELSA International on an annual basis. Every summer 70-100 ELSA members gather in Brussels, where the headquarters of the association are situated. Throughout one intensive week the participants have the opportunity to get to know the association better and understand all the opportunities that membership offers. Furthermore the participants receive training in various soft skills such as presentation, negotiation, public speaking, team work, communication, project management, CV writing etc.
The training sessions are delivered by individuals of the Partnering firms and companies of ELSA International, as well as by trainers from the International Trainers Pool and members of ELSA International, thus all training enjoys a high quality. Furthermore ELSA seniors who have both professional and ELSA experience hold some training sessions.
The program also includes visits to the European Institutions and to offices of International Law Firms or companies in Brussels. As always on international ELSA events there is an extensive social program aiming at learning about the participants different cultural backgrounds and thus experience cultural diversity.
