Welcome dear alumni of ELSA.
ELSA's biggest power is the extensive network it has. A very important part of this powerful network are all those who have been part of ELSA in the past years, thus our alumni. The secret for future success and development is maintaining and using the experience past members have acquired. During its 25 years of existence ELSA has brought many individuals together. For some of them ELSA still plays a very important role in life while others have left their active involvement behind. Alumni Strategy
In order to make sure that all past and present members of ELSA will reap benefits from the existence of the network, an alumni strategy has been defined. The outline of the strategy is: Track down as many alumni as possible ELSA has, through its online management system ELSA ONLINE, finally got an effective tool to bring together all alumni of ELSA. Alumni have the possibility to register in ELSA ONLINE and to make their contact details available to colleagues, as well as to present ELSA members. Development of alumni services The first step has already been taken - this international website which will be a meeting point for the entire network of ELSA. A regularly updated website where all alumni are provided with relevant information of happenings within the network, as well as information and services provided by the partners of ELSA. Planned developments consist of mailing lists and discussion lists in order to facilitate communication. Involvement of alumni in the work of ELSA During its 25 years of existence, ELSA has seen many individuals go through, experience and benefit from the association. Our alumni should, through any means they feel most at ease with, relight the ELSA spirit, get involved and assist ELSA today. Such involvement will be of benefit to all present members as well as to the prospering of the association as a whole. Contribution can be made on every level of ELSA, in different ways and to different degrees of commitment. The result of such co-operation will be an even stronger network of students and young lawyers. |

The ELSA Lawyers Society (ELS) is an independent, non-political and non-profit making organisation of former members of ELSA and other law graduates. ELS was founded in April 1991 in Vienna on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of ELSA. It presently has more than 200 members from 24 countries. Find out more about ELS |
