The ELSA Network comprises of almost 38 000 law students and young lawyers in 41 European countries. ELSA is represented in nearly 300 law faculties across Europe in Local Groups of ELSA that are all working for the aims and activities of ELSA.
ELSA is a unique and growing network of 38 000 young people from more than 300 universities in 41 countries across Europe. ELSA currently has members and observers in: Albania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and The United Kingdom.
Furthermore, ELSA co-operates with other student organisations across the world, for instance Asian Law Students' Association in Asia.

Every law student and young lawyer in Europe can become a member of ELSA. This can either be done by subscribing to your Local/National group or in case there is no National Group in your country, by establishing a new National Group of ELSA in the respective country.
